RECENT WORK

Strong inspiration is found in mountain nature and our changing nature should be preserved for the future. Parks grow and expand. We climb the cliffs to overview the beauty from high above and to see the birds flying below. Mountains are pure and strong inspiration.

“Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop away from you like the leaves of Autumn.” John Muir

Acrylic paintings on canvas,  61 x 96cm

I love ice climbing and this is absolutely magical place, deep in the canyon, hidden from regular visitors. Quiet winter and frozen waterfalls has special place in my heart.

Adventure, connection to nature, and mountain culture.

Through these paintings, I hope to preserve the character of wild places and encourage appreciation, protection, and stewardship of the landscapes that shape our experiences.

Fragile Resilience

This mountain view through prairie crocuses is connected to my first memory of seeing the Mt. Louis and being impressed by the diamond shape and beauty of the mountain. I dreamed about climbing this sharp and challenging looking peak. To climb the mountain takes a team effort, build friendships and reminds us of our mortality and appreciation of every day and every moment. Just breath, another deep breath, clear mind and pure connection with nature, wind, rock and ultimate trust in your partners. We all do our best. Everything can be over in split second of falling rocks. Everything is changing and moving, keep moving with the fow. Deep breath. Respect the nature and protect the wild places on this planet.

Glaciers are pure source, source of an inspiration and life. We are here to share our passion, stories, time we have here together. Prairie crocuses are the fowers reminding me the fragility and resilience of many on this land. The three figures on the top share the same wild dream. We all are experiencing the fragile resilience when stepping out of our comfort zones.
